I went to my first MJB concert on March 27 at Nassau Coliseum. Mary so completely inspired me that I went back three more times on the "Heart of the City" tour, and to the Today show taping today. "Inspired" is the word because what she does is not just "entertainment" (although artistry at her level is certainly entertainint too) but so much more. It comes from knowing her story in Yonkers, what she went through in her early years, seeing how she takes all of that experience and puts it out there into a dialogue with her fans, watching how she gives her whole heart and soul every single time, into every song, and how the fans return it with the utmost respect. I've never seen an artist receive so much love from her fans and yet somehow still manage to make it "I'm just Mary." When I saw that she had founded FFAWN today, I had to make a donation. Maybe in a small way, I can help other women achieve some level of the success that Mary has reached through sheer hard work, dedication, and a huge heart. I wish this organization the very best and I look forward to helping as much as I can. Rob, NYC
Hey Sis or who ever is reading this. It's B. My first concert was the Breakthrough tour. And I was also blessed to come to the Heart of the City tour. So yes I have been blessed to see you perform live twice. But anyway, how can I help? FFAWN is something I long dreamed of being involved in. See they need us, who i mean by they is, you know single women, abused women, insecure women, drug addicted women. Anyway they all need someone who has been through and made it through to show them they can make it though too. I say right now that i am committed to this cause (FFAWN) in every way possible. So when you see ladyb on the screen I am just putting in my time and money, and most of all my heart. I always speak from there. So if anything you mary, the staff, anybody. I AM HERE TO HELP. But in the mean time i will be online almost everyday with somthin god put in my heart. The biggest thing right now for these ladies is, live or die, poor or wealthy, happy or sad, last but not least HEAVEN OR HELL. We have to make a choice one day. And today is that day thanks to those who are praying. And thanks to FFAWN because we will help those who think they are supposed to be sad, mad, and broke. I got good news Mary, we going international on this one i see it. I got your back. You made my Dreams come true......Well God Did but he used my favorite RnB singer
Love all of yall
LadyB
I actually read the article word for word. It still amazes me on how they talk about you. I Love it. I will explain one day soon on why? But truth is there are a lot of people you have in your corner alone right now. So i know every day is a blessed day for sure. I Know cause i feel it too on my end. Mary if you love for people to encourage you, Baby Keep on. Because What god is doing now to you is just what i would call laying in his rest. Rested assurance that everything will and is all right. Love in it, Stay in it, Never doubt it. So i hope you continue to expect loving emails like these. Yes we (speaking as a fan) understand and will you all the best, only because you deserve it. But speaking as LadyB i always knew and i never doubted!
