I'm spending my money on textbooks for school!!
Just a tip, I'm an editor for tax and accounting books and journals. There are a lot of offers out there to spend all your refund in one place, like some grocery stores will give you $120 extra if you spend $1,200 in their store. Be careful, don't get swept up by these offers too fast. Take your time and spend carefully. The little extra that the store offers may not be worth it in the long run if it would benefit you more to spend it in more than one place. When you get the check, if you can wait (for example, if you don't have a medical emergency or other immediately pressing need) , don't do anything with it for a few days at least. Think about it and plan the best you can.
